Mike King has honestly been the biggest help whilst going through the motions of building my first home. I had spoken to other building brokers / builders direct prior and was not feeling comfortable or just getting a pure sales pitch I wasn't interested in. My initial contact with Mike was great, he was real, honest and informative. My experience so far has been with Mike assisting me in finding a great infill block in Warwick at a good price, he haad a custom design done in house which suited my block, tendered it out to select builders suited to what i was trying to acheive and got me a great deal with a great builder! He's been there every step and is always contactable even for those little silly questions (Thank you Mike for dealing with my impatience at times!), building is scary and at times it does make you anxious so it's been great to have Mike help me navigate through this journey. Mike, Asuncion, Michael and the design team at Better Way 2 Build are amazing! We had a dream of a dual occupancy home and after being disappointed with the cookie-cutter buildings available, through other companies, Mike reached out and we started our journey with them. Asuncion is such a talented designer and she designed elements of our house that included rooms we had previously dismissed in being able to have. Other designers couldn't imagine what we wanted but Asuncion was took our dream and turned it into reality.. Michael G helped us with our builders and quotes, and was always there to answer our millions of questions. He really made us feel at ease with the process. From the moment of the first contact, I knew Mike was the man who was going to help change my life. Being a single mum whose rental was just sold, I was weighing up my options and simply made an enquiry to see if by some miracle I would be able to build a house of my own. I built my first home all on my own thanks to Sev and Marlise. I don’t even know where to start as words cannot describe how grateful I am that I found these two. To build my own home was only a dream that Sev and Marlise helped make into a reality. The unconditional support and dedication towards whatever I needed throughout the whole process made me feel so safe and looked after. Even though I built my dream home on my own it never felt that way, it didn’t matter the time or day, these guys went out and beyond for me with every detail and step of the process. They are people of their word that you can genuinely trust in this dog eat dog world. They are upfront and honest, it was never about the money but how you felt leaving their office. I had many friends and family tell me about the awful experiences they had building with other companies, so naturally I was a little frighten and on guard but Sev me Marlise squashed this with one meeting. But the biggest thing I can say about Sev and Marlise is that my experience was incredibly fulfilling and wholesome and I am so grateful for them and their expertise and professionalism. Mike King has changed my life in a big way. I had been researching property investment for several years and as an older single lady it's quite daunting. I had formulated a strategy to kickstart my investment journey but was frankly quite scared to start at a time when the building industry was in real trouble. Mike found a builder for me and they proposed an "investor spec" house and land package that was well within my budget. When that builder started to have problems, Mike found a new builder to take over the contract, for the same price, before I even knew there was an issue. Mike also referred me to an excellent mortgage broker so that was something else I didn't need to worry about. The whole process has been super easy from start to finish. If I had concerns Mike responded to messages within minutes and always had the answers, as he knows the Perth building landscape intimately. My build is now complete and the home is lovely. Building a house is one of those very stressful life events but working with Mike meant that this project was trouble free. While Mike and his team worked very hard behind the scenes, from my perspective the project almost felt like it was on auto pilot.
